February 7, 2015 – The Friends of the Library for Hood County had myself and Tammy Jo Burns speak at their Friends of the Library Bookstore.  We spoke about the writing process and our books.  It was an intimate and fun gathering and I hope to do more in the future.

August 23, 2013 – My short story, “Deaf Love”, was featured on the Book Babe Blog. Thanks, in part, to Tara’s article and a good friend, there has been lots of interest generated in Luke and Amanda’s story.  This has prompted me to continue their story into a full-length novel (are you excited yet, Candy?) to be released in the future as Deaf Love: The Cowboy’s Gift.
